Family Tree University Fall Virtual Conference 2017Don’t miss Family Tree University’s Fall Virtual Genealogy Conference, coming up September 15-17, 2017. I’m giving the live keynote address, “The Big Picture in Little Details,” because even the smallest details may reveal the bigger picture of an ancestor’s life. I’m giving some of the 15 lectures you can watch on your own schedule throughout the event, and Genealogy Gems Editor Sunny Morton is also giving one. 1. COLYN STORER says:

I am EXTREMELY disappointed that in these 101 Best Free Websites – including international ones, they would not find space for TROVE – the Australian Repository for “Not just Newspapers’ – this is from their Home Page as at 11 August 2017
Find and get over 540,699,577 Australian and online resources:
books, images, historic newspapers, maps, music, archives and more

Why does it ignore this website which not only is TOTALLY FREE (that is their own statement) but also allow and WELCOMES corrections to the OCR. The top five correctors have corrected in excess of FIFTEEN MILLION lines of newspapers and other documents.

  2. An excellent suggestion! I love TROVE and it has something for everyone around the world.
